A two-day hands-on training workshop on “WordPress for Beginners” organized by the Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES), Department of Civil Engineering, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana, has been successfully concluded today.

ACES has started a new series of Peer-to-peer learning programme, under which this event was held from March 03 to March 04, 2022.

It had 40 Registration along with 3  Faculty Members.

Day 1: – Installation and Intial Setup of Bitmani WordPress

      1. Installing Bitnami WordPress
      2. Seting up WordPress
      3. Installing Theme (Ocean wp)
      4. Installing Plugins
      5. Creating Pages

Day 2: – Designing the Website

      1. Editing Header & Footer menu
      2. A brief Overview of Elements
      3. Editing Home Page by adding Elements
      4. Customising the Content
      5. Converting WordPress site to Static Site
      6. Hosting wordpress site on Github pages
Outcomes of the Wordshop

The participants are well-versed with the platform (WordPress) after attending the workshop. They have become capable of exploring the world of making websites.
